PORSCHE BOXSTER

With only one owner from new, and a full Porsche Main Dealer history this is not one to be missed for a true collector, as I doubt you will another with this history..

This is a lovely example of the ever popular Porsche 986 Boxster with the 2.7 flat six engine and 5 speed manual gearbox. Being a 2004 model it is from the last year of production before the 987 arrived.

The car is finished in classic Arctic Silver with the contrasting black hood. The rear window is the glass heated version as this is a late model. The paintwork is in very good condition all round with a deep overall shine. There are one or two small 'parking' dents but just as you would expect for a car of this age and mileage. The headlights are in excellent condition having been professionally polished.

Wheels are the optional 18in Carrera 5 spokes with correctly N rated tyres all round showing excellent tread. The wheels have the slightest of marks but nothing major and look beautiful with newly replaced coloured crest wheel centres.

Moving to the inside and the car has the standard Boxster seats, and the original radio supplemented by the Analogue BOSE sound system and CD Changer. The car has Air conditioning and the hood works perfectly. Even the commonly broken sun visor mirror covers are original and intact, and all original tools are present.

Everything works exactly as it should including the remote central locking, and the car drives beautifully which is no surprise given the history.

These are backed up with stamps for 8 brake fluid changes at the same service centres, there has been no expense spared on this car. The owner also reported that the car had a replacement engine fitted at around 30,000 miles under Porsche warranty because of the IMS seal/shaft issue though this is not listed in the book. But we have now had it confirmed by Porsche that a brand new engine was installed in August 2009 and it is recorded on the Porsche warranty system which any owner can check.

We have copies of receipts for work done alongside the recent servicing amounting to well over £6,000 including brake pipe renewal which we can share with any prospective buyer so you can see just how well it has been maintained.

The only issue of note is that one of the hood cables was identified as needing replacement, and I would suggest it would make more sense to fit a new hood cover to this outstanding car if it were mine.

Supplied with two keys that both operate the remote central locking; along with the original book packs including that impressive service history and copy receipts for some work.

The car will be sold with the benefit of a 6 month warranty with roadside recovery for peace of mind, and part exchange will be considered at trade value.
