MG MGF

Here is a lovely little MGF 1.8i convertible in classic red exterior and with black leather sports seats for the interior.

The exterior of the car is in very good condition with only a couple of small parking dents visible on the sides. The alloy wheels are very presentable with a few small chips - not worth refurbishing as yet - and are fitted with Toyo Proxes performance tyres all round. The hood is also very good and works fine with the optional tonneau with the car to cover the roof frame when down.

The front bumper is a slightly different shade, and the side vents, and rear parking sensors also appear to be slightly off in terms of a perfect colour match - but the car has yet to be fully prepared and polished and this could lift the finish.

The interior is finished with the black leather sports seats which show little signs of wear with the bolsters still looking good.

The car is in very original condition with the MG branded radio still fitted, and has only covered 83019 miles from new. This is really a remarkable little car, supplied by Kerridges the MG dealer from new, still wearing their number plates, and with an outstanding service record. It has been serviced for many years by the dealer, with so many stamps in the book they have had to put them on the rear cover. We also have a full print of the history from Kerridges.

We have popped photos of the history on here to give you some idea. The car was suffering from a sticking clutch arm so has just had the new uprated arm fitted along with a new clutch, and drives exactly as you would expect.

It is certainly not in new car condition or concourse, and will need some tic by the new owner, but clearly one of the better examples of the MGF that has been well looked after, and needs no major expenditure whatsoever to enjoy.
