JAGUAR XKR

The Jaguar XKR is becoming something of a modern classic, with its supercharged 4.0 engine producing 370 BHP and a 0-60 time of only 5.2 seconds.

The example we have is finished in Platinum silver, and sits on the standard 18in 'Double 5' staggered wheels - 9in wide at the rear and 8in at the front. The bodywork overall is very clean, and the car looks superb with the supercharged bonnet crest, and vented bonnet, alongside that very striking mesh grille.

But there is evidence of some areas being in need of attention. The seals around the door handles are not complete and need replacement; and there is some evidence of bubbling under the paint on the left hand rear side lower panel behind the wheel. So we would say it is a really good car that probably needs a little TLC in the future.

Moving to the interior and the XKR models benefit from the full leather heated sports seats with 12 way electric adjustment and memory function finished in warm charcoal. This example has the navigation pack fitted, and also had the hard wired phone - which has been removed but comes with the vehicle. However, it has been subject to the fitment of an upgraded Alpine DAB head unit that integrates with the original system but adds bluetooth and superior sound with DAB reception.

Mechanically the car drives brilliantly, with items identified on previous MOTs having been dealt with an needed. We do not have the original books, but we do have records of service from 2015 which were handed over by the previous owner as follows -
