BMW 5 SERIES

This example of the ever popular BMW 520D estate is in simply outstanding condition for its age and mileage. It is one of the last of the F11 series being registered in 2017 and it is my own personal car. I have just covered an effortless 1800 mile trip to Germany in the car and it performed faultlessly.

The exterior is finished in Mineral Grey metallic which is a wonderful colour on the 5 series. The bodywork is in remarkably clean condition overall, with the slightest of scuffs as can be seen on the video. The rear tailgate is powered and has the separate upper hatch opening for convenience.

It is complemented by the M Sport styling package which has the high gloss shadow line trim and the privacy glass fitted. The standard 18 inch wheels are fitted with excellent tyres with good trim all round. With xenon lights with headlight cleaning, and park distance control it is very well specified.

Moving to the interior and you have the ever popular and superbly comfortable M Sports seats finished in full Dakota leather. The seats have partial electric adjustment and there are no rips; tears or scuffs on the interior belying its mileage.

In terms of entertainment, being a 2017 model it benefits from the later system, and this example has the professional navigation with wide screen; connected drive; real time information; and DAB tuner along with bluetooth of course. The driver has the instrument panel as the extended display, and the car also benefits from the paddle shifters for the automatic transmission fitted to the M sports steering wheel.

With only two former owners the car has a good service history, with service by BMW main dealers until 2020, and most recently by a close friend of the second owner. The car has had the EGR cooler recall; and has just been fitted with two new rear airbags for the self levelling suspension and new rear shock absorbers, as well as new front discs and pads following the MOT where they were advisory items - it is, after all, mine so needs to drive perfectly :).

There are recipes on file for oil and filter purchases in March 2023 and a receipt for rear brake pads fitment in February

The car comes with two keys and has been priced extremely well. It will still come with a 6 month warranty for its next owner. Finance can be arranged and part exchange is welcome.
