Beautiful colour combination and extensive options.

Here we have a beautiful example of the ever-popular BMW 520 Diesel Touring in the SE specification, but with a high level of options making for a stunning package. This is my personal car and is in use so the mileage may increase.

The exterior is finished in Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect Metallic (Xirallic) which BMW described as having extra brightness and sparkle and really comes alive when in the sun. The car has only the slightest of chips or marks with the most noticeable being on the upper side of the rear bumper as you expect on an estate car. It has the satin effect aluminium roof rails and bright exterior window surrounds.

The car sits on the standard 17 inch SE alloy wheels which are fitted with quality tyres with good tread. The BMW 5 series has air suspension at the rear, but this particular example has also been specified with the adaptive suspension option which gives a choice of suspension settings from Comfort + through to Sport + and working with the engine and automatic transmission you can really feel the difference. It has the usual Xenon lights and park distance control as you would expect on this model.

Moving to the inside and the car has also been specified with the excellent heated Sports Seats and the Sports Leather steering wheel, so you have all the sport features if you choose to drive that way, or the comfort and softer suspension for long journeys. The full leather interior is in Everest Grey which when combined with the Imperial Blue looks superb. The seat are in excellent condition with the only slight scuffing being to the drivers seat bolster which can be seen in the photo.

The car has the adaptive cruise control function and automatic high beam headlights along with the electric tailgate release, and half opening rear window. The car also benefits from the extended control instrument pack. The interior really belies the mileage with no excessive wear on any controls or switches.

Supplied new by Dick Lovett BMW in Bristol the car has clearly been well looked after by its 2 owners with a comprehensive service history showing 13 stamps in the service book as follows, with the latest only in February of this year -
