BMW 3 SERIES

We have this rare E46 M3 manual coupe finished in the stunning combination of Carbon Schwartz exterior and Kiwi exclusive full leather inside. It has the electric memory sports seats, and sits on the popular and beautiful CSL style alloys and Michelin Super Sport Tyres.

It really is hard to find a good E46 M3, and even more so with the manual gearbox.

Carbon Schwartz presents like an ultra dark metallic blue in the sun and the paintwork on this car is absolutely amazing. We have to assume it has undergone some restoration at some point - though we have no bills to support that.

The rear wheel arches which are the known rust spot are as new, with no rust blisters or even a hint of any. It is testament to how good the paintwork is that the small number of stone chips on the bonnet and the roof can easily be seen against the stunning paint finish. These are definitely just touch in though.

The Kiwi interior was fully refurbished in 2015 with bills on file, and will be re-cleaned now we have the car with us to bring it to the right standard.

There are bills on file for a top end rebuild some time ago, when one would have to assume the VANOS was dealt with at the same time; and we also have a bill on file for £1000 for the rear floor being strengthened. So the main issues have clearly been addressed.

The wheels themselves have no marks or scuffs, and the absence of the 'M' badges suggest recent refurbishment - new badges have been fitted since the photos were taken.

The car has been fitted with an updated modern navigation system with Bluetooth and USB. We would probably find an original radio to fit it were ours, but the one fitted offers all the modern functionality that was never there when new.

We identified a sticking rear brake caliper on arrival, and that meant the discs were quite worn. the car has therefore been fitted with brand new genuine BMW discs and pads all round; and the brake callipers all professionally refurbished as new by BCS and painted in gloss black.

With Bilstein shock absorbers already fitted, this car is just waiting to be driven by its new owner - who may have to go easy and avoid temptation until the brakes are fully bedded in.
